BAP - 2024 Summer Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the Fiftieth Anniversary Summer Meeting will be held at the University of Birmingham, between 21st–24th July.

This will be a very special occasion.

We are very pleased to be joined by three Guest Lecturers, all of whom will touch on the history of research and potential future progress in their area: Barbara Franke (ADHD), John Krystal (depression pathophysiology), and Dan Stein (‘Cosmetic’ Psychopharmacology).

In addition, we are delighted that Femi Oyebode will give the BAP Public Lecture on Sunday afternoon, on psychiatric practice before the psychopharmacological era.

The BAP Summer Meeting always provides a fantastic and welcoming environment to all those interested in psychopharmacology, including BAP members and non-members, and non-clinical and clinical scientists.

This meeting will be held face-to-face only: scientific sessions will not be recorded, and there will be no facility for attending online.
